Property Translation Service

The Property Translation Service or PTS has simplified and increased the accuracy of property identification.

The service has improved property identification by cross matching a customer's property identifier such as a street address with data from an agency such as a council or water authority. This means less time and effort needed by the agency in determining the correct property, leading to a reduction in time spent producing a certificate. It has improved customer service with reduced certificate delivery times.

To use the online service you only need to enter a single property identifier to automatically receive all other property identifiers relevant to that particular property. Property identification may also be made by pointing and clicking on a map.

Property identifiers, other than street addresses, include lot on plan, volume or folio number or a council property number.

The identified property details are then sent automatically to the relevant agency on vendor statement certificate applications.

PTS was developed in conjunction with LANDATA®, Vicmap, councils and water authorities through consultation and a pilot program.

In the future all vendor statement documents will be available online within a matter of minutes, ready for you to print.
